Reception:
Our receptionists are our
friendly faces that greet our clients and their pets when they first enter
Bayside. They are trained in providing quick and caring service to aid you
and your pet when a hospital visit is needed. Whether it be for routine
vaccinations or emergency situations, they provide the bridge from walking
into the door and connecting with the hospital. When coming in for an
appointment, make sure to notify them of any problems or changes so that
they can notify the doctor or technicians. They are trained to notice any
problems and know if something needs attention immediately, which makes them
an important part of the hospital family.

Technicians:
After meeting the receptionists,
you are greeted by a technician. They assist the doctors in appointments,
surgery and hospital care. Trained in emergency sitautions, they also help
make sure that if an emergency does happen with your pet, they are right
there with the doctors to help out. Make sure to notify the technicians of
any problems your pet is having when they are getting the patients
information. They will ask about medications, medical history, nutrition and
everyday actions of your pet to ensure that there is not anything hidden
that may hurt them now or in the future. Education is a big part of our
technicians duties here at Bayside, so feel free to ask them questions about
your pet. If there is something they do not know the answer to, they will be
sure to ask the doctors and open that discussion for you with them as well.

Kennel Staff:
A huge part of our hospital is
our boarding facility. We offer space for both dogs and cats, and have
attendants in the kennel that are also trained to notice medical problems.
These attendants take care of your pet as they board with us providing them
with food, care and attention during their stay. Our kennel attendants
frequently walk the dogs and pay close attention to their attitude and
health. Whenever there is any problems, they notify the technicians on staff
at the time who then take action with the doctors. They are also trained in
giving medications so that your pet is properly medicated while staying with
us. This ensures that the transition is an easy one when your pet stays with
us no matter how long the trip. You are greeted by the kennel attendant when
you drop your pets off for boarding, surgery or drop-off care. Be sure to
notify them or the receptionist of any medications, change in diet or if you
brought any personal things for you pet from home.
