Dr.
Spofford graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of
Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 1993. He received his Bachelor
of Science degree in biology from Lehigh University. He has a special
interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. After working in a
clinical practice in Fairfax, Virginia, Dr. Spofford and his wife, Dr.
Gosser, purchased Bayside Animal Hospital in 1997. He also enjoys
fishing and boating with his sons, Nicholas and Zachary, and his
daughter Katie from his home in Trappe. |

Dr. Gosser received her Bachelor of Science Cum Laude from Virginia Tech in 1987 with a major in Biology and a minor in Animal Science. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia Tech in 1991. Dr. Gosser worked at small animal practices in Harrisonburg, VA, Roanoke, VA and Annapolis, MD before purchasing Bayside Animal Hospital with Dr. Spofford in 1997. She has an interest in internal medicine and cardiology. Dr. Gosser and Dr Spofford have 3 children, Nicholas, Katie and Zachary. |
Barbara Bell, D.V.M. |
Dr. Barbara Bell received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1995. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College in 2002. She relocated in August 2004 from Blacksburg, Virginia where she was practicing as a small animal veterinarian to Cambridge with her son Logan and their multiple pets. Dr. Bell has a special interest in internal medicine and wound treatment. She enjoys jogging, fishing, and swimming in her spare time. |

Tracy began working for Bayside in 1998 and was made office manager in 2002. Along with being born in Dorchester County, her charm, humor, and bubbly personality make her the perfect choice for this position. Not only does she enjoy the patients here, she enjoys the clients as well. Her favorite part of her job is when she can help a client through a difficult time. She lives in Cambridge with her fiance David, three sons, two daughters, canine companion Roxy, two feline friends Oreo & Parris, and three fish. |

Beth joined the Bayside in 2003 as a technician and is currently the head technician of our staff. She has been around animals since she was born, helping her father raise and train hunting dogs. After graduating from high school she was assistant trainer of Standardbred racehorses for ten years. Her favorite part of her job knowing that she has been able to educate clients by helping them give the best possible care to their pets. She also enjoy attending local functions to help pet owners in the community learn about the best ways to keep their pets healthy. She currently lives in Cambridge with my husband, two daughters, dog Grace, 3 cats, and a box turtle from Bayside.She enjoys camping, reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family and pets in her spare time. |

For as long as she can remember, Adriean has had an evident love for all things furry. In 2003 she began working as a veterinary technician and in 2005 she joined the staff at Bayside Animal Hospital. She has since been cross-trained as a receptionist and enjoys the variety of positions. Her favorite duties include dental cleanings, radiology, and assisting in our hospital's low cost spay/neuter clinic. However she says that the most important part of her job is to watch very sick animals recover and go home in high spirits. Adriean is the proud owner of a Jack Russell mix Bella and Pit Bull Shyla. Both were rescued during her time at Bayside. During her free time she loves to hang out with her dogs, read, and paint. Some of her creative work can be seen throughout the hospital promoting special offers, advertising new products, or covering health topics. Don't forget to check them out at your next visit!! |

Kim was born in Cambridge and raised in Secretary, Maryland. She started working at Bayside Animal Hospital as a technician in 2002, and later found her passion for the front desk and became a receptionist. She enjoys working at Bayside because she has always loved being around animals. She is also very found of the hospital cat Midnight. Kim is responsible for the sweet smell as you walk in the door with all of her different fragrances of candles. Kim's creativity shines with the gift baskets made for local charity events. She enjoys reading, making jewelry, and gardening in her spare time. She lives in Cambridge with her husband Mike, Labrador Retriever Whiskey, and their three cats Alice, Flip, and Marbles. |

Amy has worked at Bayside since 2005 as a technician, and likes working here because it is something different everyday. She enjoys spending time outdoors in any season with her husband and children.They love taking the dogs for walks and going to the beach. She has two cats and two dogs that she loves to death, but her passion for animals doesn't stop there. Fur, scales, or feathers are alright with her! |

Angela has always had a love of animals. She has rescued many stray animals and has nursed them back to good health, raised them, or located a good home for them. Angela is a recent member of the staff here at Bayside Animal Hospital; she started working here in November 2010. Some of her favorite aspects of working here are the ability to further her education, work with very caring people, and take part in helping to save a patients life. Angela is a college student and is engaged to be married. She has a three year old son Zachary. She also has two four legged children; a Bernese mountain Dog named Mocha and a Golden Retriever named Leila. During her free time Angela enjoys playing outside with her family, exercising, and reading. |

Candice was born and raised in Cordova, Maryland with her Mom, Dad, and brother. She grew up on a cow farm with plenty of stray animals everywhere, and thats where her love for animals began. She worked at a boarding kennel before realizing she preferred helping animals by becoming a veterinary technician. She is a full time student who will graduate in May 2011 from Chesapeake College with an AA in Liberal Arts and Science. She likes to spend time with her family, friends, and animals in her free time. |

Susan has a general caring and giving attitude which makes her job as a kennel attendant here at Bayside suit her well. She has been with Bayside since 2008. Susan is also a full time geriatric nurse. She has a house full of pets of all kinds, shapes, and sizes!! She enjoys reading, exercise, music, and dance. She has a wonderful daughter who she also enjoys spending time with. |

Amanda Marinov is one of our part time veterinary technicians. She has always had a passion for animals. Amanda is married with two children Riya and Kaleb. She loves her job at Bayside Animal Hospital because everyday is a new learning experience. Amanda loves to learn new things. In her spare time Amanda loves to travel, be outdoors, dance, and be active. |

Meet Midnight If you come to our office then you recognize this kitty! Midnight is our resident hospital cat. Midnight was adopted when her owner's battle with cancer did not allow her to continue caring for her. Next time you stop by, take a second to get to know her! She's a friendly kitty and likes lots of attention! |
