"What would you do if your pet got lost?"

The leading cause of pet death is getting lost. Statistics show that 10 million pets get lost every year and without I.D, 90% do not return home. *

As part of our preventative care, we offer microchipping to our clients. A microchip is a tiny chip that is placed under your pet's skin, which is coded with a number specific to your pet. With proper registration, the number will be connected to your information in the computer as their pet owner. The process sounds worse than it really is and pets do not have to be anesthetized to be micochipped. Most pets do not mind the microchip being put into place when they are awake as the process takes only seconds.  If your pet is undergoing surgery, that is the perfect time for a microchip to be put into place.

When your pet is micro-chipped, they have more than just an I.D. number in a database. If your pet is reported lost to the HomeAgain network, 24/7 recovery specialists immediately gather your information and issue an lost pet alert to local vets, shelters and Pet Rescuers in your area. You can print a lost pet poster or post one online through the HomeAgain website as well as receive 24/7 medical support from licensed veterinarians (if it is not during our normal business hours).

The HomeAgain network also provides complimentary lost pet medical insurance through their partner PetFirst. This coverage is for any medical bills that you may have from your pet becoming injured while being lost, upon proof of the incident.
